| FISH FESTIVAL, 2011 |

As per the G.O (Rt.)No.648/10/F&PD dated 06.08.2010 Government of Kerala have decided to conduct a National level fish festival in association with National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) at Thiruvananthapuram from 24- 28th February 2011, to disseminate the importance of the Fisheries sector in the over all development of the nation and to illustrate its own development through the advancement of technologies, socio-economic empowerment and institutional involvement. The Fish Festival will host competitive stalls on fresh water and marine aquariums of various states, Government Agencies and other institutions, private aquarists in and out of the state, commercial stalls, sea food and fish products, products of alternate lively hood activities etc. |
